Belonging and Engagement Consultant

SUMMARY: The Belonging and Engagement Consultant plays a key part in advancing workplace practices that promote fairness, opportunity, and a sense of belonging for all employees. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting employee-led groups, coordinating engagement programs, and partnering with HR and community stakeholders to enhance the employee experience. Committee & Group Support Coordinate the activities of the Belonging and Engagement Committee in alignment with organizational goals. Provide logistical and planning support to employee-led groups and action teams. Assist in organizing events, meetings, and initiatives that promote employee connection and shared purpose. Maintain tools and resources to help committee leaders align with broader engagement strategies. Engagement Program Coordination Collaborate with HR and department leaders to implement employee engagement initiatives across the organization. Support the delivery of workshops and training sessions on topics such as team effectiveness, inclusion, and workplace civility. Assist in gathering feedback and identifying opportunities to improve the employee experience. Data & Action Planning Support Help analyze employee engagement survey results and summarize key findings. Support leaders in developing and tracking action plans based on engagement data. Contribute to regular reporting on engagement outcomes and progress. EEO & Workforce Reporting Assist in preparing EEO-1 and other compliance reports in collaboration with HRIS and legal teams. Help monitor workforce data to ensure compliance and identify trends related to equity and representation. Community Engagement & Outreach Support relationship-building efforts with community organizations that align with workforce engagement and outreach goals. Participate in community events and forums to represent the organization and strengthen external partnerships. Workplace Experience & Development Partner with internal teams to implement initiatives that promote employee well-being and inclusive workplace practices. Assist in evaluating the effectiveness of engagement programs and recommending improvements. Performs other duties as assigned. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or a related field. Master’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or a related field preferred PHR or SHRM-CP preferred. EXPERIENCE: 2–4 years of experience in employee engagement, HR support, or organizational development. Experience supporting employee-led groups or engagement committees. Strong communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively across departments and with external partners. Interest in community engagement and inclusive workplace practices. Experience in community partnership and stakeholder engagement. Stay current on best practices in employee engagement, organizational development, and workforce strategy. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY: None.

Pay Range:

$76,868.79-$126,819.78
