Project Manager Rhode Island Sickle Cell Data

SUMMARY:

The Project Manager position will lead this Sickle Cell Data Collection program and will oversee the data collection and program administration. This individual will interface directly with CDC Project Officer and Consultants to ensure that the activities of the project are completed in a timely and efficient manner. This individual will prepare and submit all required reports to the CDC for this project. In addition to the work overseeing this project, the Project Manager will work to coordinate the data for the clinical program within the Brown University Health Comprehensive Sickle Cell Center by monitoring our electronic medical record-based sickle cell dashboard to track and improve care of our patients.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Coordinate the Rhode Island Sickle Cell Data Collection Program (SCDC) and Lead Monthly SCDC team meetings, including development of agendas and dissemination of minutes from these meetings Engage with the CDC SCDC Program team and other collaborating states as needed Develop and submit reports for the SCDC program as needed Travel annually to the CDC in Atlanta for Reverse Site visits, and more often as needed Maintain the EMR-based Sickle Cell Dashboard and develop monthly reports to track the activity and outcomes of our sickle cell patients Engage with the comprehensive and multidisciplinary sickle cell team to perform data-related tasks as needed to support our patients and program needs Assist with other sickle cell research projects or data needs, including development or management of REDCap databases or analysis of study data Engage with the Rhode Island Department of Health team to determine how and if the RI SCDC program can utilize existing state data to best track sickle cell patients in our state Manages stress appropriately, prioritizes work schedule, and collaborates with others Performs other duties as assigned Has the ability to work on concurrent projects and prioritize work as needed to achieve targets and deadlines

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

QUALIFICATIONS-EXPERIENCE: · Leadership in administering and coordinating groups of individuals by promoting teamwork, delegating tasks, resolving conflict, setting goals, and evaluating performance. · Detail-oriented · Excellent time-management and analytic skills · Strong computer skills and highly proficient in Microsoft Office suite, specifically Excel, Word and PowerPoint. QUALIFICATIONS-EDUCATION: Experience and personal skillsets preferred over education. Master’s in public health or health-related fields would be preferred, but not required

Pay Range:

$66,397.24-$109,529.06
