Summary: The Skeletal and Stem Cell Biology Laboratory in the Department of Orthopaedics at Rhode Island Hospital is seeking a highly motivated organized Lab Manager/Research Assistant. The primary focus of the lab is on skeletal cell differentiation and development with specific emphasis on how protein tyrosine kinase (PTK) and phosphatase (PTP) signaling impacts skeletal development and tissue homeostasis and how to target the PTK or PTP signaling pathways for skeletal tissue anti-degeneration and regeneration. We strive to maintain an inspiring and collaborative lab environment that values and supports each member makes science enjoyable fosters personal growth and ultimately improves skeletal health. Organization attention to detail precision good record keeping time-management and communication skills are essential.
