Summary: The Nurse Practitioner is
accountable to facilitate a quality hospital experience and outcome for
patients within a cost-effective time frame.
The Nurse Practitioner I will be responsible to the Medical Director of
Patient Services and responsible for overseeing the progress of a specific
caseload of patients across the care continuum to include pre-admission and
post-discharge when feasible. Acts as an
educator consultant and liaison to healthcare providers caring for the
patients across the care continuum.

Other information: Licensure as Registered Nurse in the State of Rhode Island by the Rhode Island Board of Nursing or licensure as a Registered Nurse in accordance with the Nurse Licensure Compact agreement of the National Council of State Boards of Nursing. BASIC KNOWLEDGE: Masters of Science Degree Baccalaureate in Nursing Certified in Basic Cardiac Demonstrates knowledge and EXPERIENCE: Two years related experience WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: General hospital environment INDEPENDENT ACTION: Responds to individual SUPERVISORY None.
Graduate of accredited Nurse Practitioner program. Specialty certification required.
Life Support (BLS).
