Research Study Facilitator PD

Summary:
The Research Study Facilitator assists the primary investigator with participant intervention which is provided to participants virtually in the evenings (after 5:30pm) and offered nationally. The study is an intensive healthy behavior lifestyle intervention for adolescents with type 1 diabetes mellitus who are at-risk for developing obesity. This intervention is manualized and provides health education about balanced eating safe exercise and diabetes management behaviors. The Research Study Facilitator facilitates the manualized intervention. 

Other information:
The RSF must have experience working with youth with type 1 diabetes to facilitate the group to ensure they are able to respond to concerns specific to this patient population.
