SUMMARY

Support Social Skills Groups for children and teens with autism. Groups are formed based upon age and abilities of participants.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Greet children and parents upon arrival at their group, take attendance for assigned groups.
  • Assist Group Facilitator(s) in setting up activities and materials.
  • Assist Group Facilitator(s) in conducting Social Skills Group activities.
  • Complete clean-up following groups.
  • Implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Rate Treatment Support Assessments weekly.
  • Attend trainings and staff meetings associated with Social Skills Groups.
  • Oversee dismissal of participants to parents, caregivers, and/or others on their Authorized to Pick Up List.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Flexible work schedule including some nights and weekends when groups are running.
  • Knowledge of autism spectrum disorders and some experience supporting individuals with autism.
  • Willingness to work as a team member in a rapidly expanding NON-PROFIT agency.

Pay Range

$18.00-$25.82
