SUMMARY

Performs diagnostic cardiology procedures and related techniques, producing images for the interpretation by, or at the request of, a licensed practitioner. Provides appropriate patient care (newborn, infant, child, adolescent, adult, geriatric). MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• One to three years experience preferred, but not required.
• Knowledge of cardiovascular technology, cardiac pathophysiology, hemodynamics.
• EKG recordings: prep, technique, and lead placements.
• Must be able to handle multiple tasks/projects.
• Good communication skills, ethical and professional conduct, good understanding of age-related developmental issues of pediatrics and geriatrics.
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed, weekend rotate.
• Must be able to demonstrate a high degree of concentration, memory retention, alertness, and the ability to handle stress with quick response to assigned duties.

EDUCATION

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Successful completion of dysrhythmia course
• BLS required

$18.55-$27.06
