SUMMARY:
The Manager of General Outpatient Programis responsible for coordinating the General Outpatient Services Department which includes outpatient counseling and medication management services. In addition, the manager will coordinate the associated psychiatric rehab support services provided to clients with significant mental health concerns to help them improve their functioning within their communities. The psychiatric rehabilitation services are provided by Rehab Counselors, Educational/Vocational Specialists, Case Managers, and Peer Specialists and include 1) coaching clients in social awareness and skill development; 2) improving relationships with family and friends; 3) providing opportunities for community integration; 4) learning skills to manage symptoms and improve daily living; and 5) accessing educational and vocational opportunities. The psych rehab staff work in collaboration with outpatient therapists, psychiatrists, advanced practice nurses to meet the overall needs of the clients.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develops and oversees the service workflow for client intake, assessment, treatment planning, care coordination, and discharge, ensuring timeliness for meeting certification and licensing standards.Ensures that required screenings and assessments of clients are completed through the person-centered treatment planning process, assisting and training as needed; uses information to assist staff in determining client goals and needed services.Develops and implements a psychiatric rehabilitation services model that supports clients with serious mental illnesses who are not eligible for or do not need ACT or ICTT levels of care.Supports staff in implementing identified evidence-based practices or treatment options associated with behavioral health disorders and integrate them into their individual practices.Trains and supports psych rehab staff in solution-focused interventions to assist clients with social, interpersonal, self-care, daily living, and independent living skills to restore stability, to support functional gains and to adapt to community living. Supports GOP and psych rehab staff in identifying resources, natural supports, and developing goals and objectives to use them effectively.Implements strategies for engaging families in treatment and involvement in supporting the client.Establishes relationships and communicates with other providers for care coordination, particularly health care providers.Oversees the discharging of clients to ensure that they have appropriate services in place to maintain their progress.Provides supervision to staff that includes coordinating team conferencing, department and agency meetings.Maintains detailed, accurate, and timely documentation in health record.Enhances and maintains professional expertise through educational activities and trainings.Ensures that staff meet their requirements for required data collection, client contact time according to treatment plan, and for agency productivity targets.Completes administrative tasks of approving payroll, mileage, benefit time, etc.Follows agency policies and standards for client rights and confidentiality. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:Master’s level Licensed Independent Practitioner (LMHC, LICSW, LMFT)At least 3 years experience working with in a behavioral health or human service setting.Experience in developing and/or coordinating programming with the targeted population.NECESSARY SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:Knowledge of SMI, SPMI, and SUD populationsUnderstanding of mental health and substance use diagnosesKnowledge of community resources for clients and families with behavioral health disorders.Advocacy and coaching skills.Valid driver's license and use of in order to perform the major functions of the job.Automobile liability insurance coverage for vehicle being used in accordance with Center requirements. Ability to work collaboratively as a team to coordinate care for clients with intensive behavioral health needs.
Pay Range:
