SAH Mammography Technologist

SUMMARY: Provides health care services to assist in diagnosis or treatment. The core Success Factors include: Instill Trust and Value Differences Patient and Community Focus and Collaborate RESPONSIBILITIES: 0 MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: One to three years experience preferred, but not required Knowledge of radiographic procedures, equipment operation, radiation safety, positioning techniques, patient transfers, Good communication skills, Ability to handle multiple tasks/projects, Ethical and professional conduct, good understanding of age-related developmental issues of pediatrics and geriatrics Flexibility to work overtime as needed as well as on-call duty, weekend rotations. Interest in participating in orientation/clinical education of student radiographers in accordance with clinical education center guidelines for radiologic technology program(s). EDUCATION: Graduate of Certificate Program in Radiography or Associate in Science Degree Certification by ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) in radiography, or equivalent. Licensure by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts in Radiography. BLS required *For recent radiologic technology graduate only: ARRT registered certification eligibility in Radiography with RT(R); must obtain registered certification within 12 months of hire and prior to the expiration of a temporary Massachusetts DPH Radiologic Technologist Radiography (Full/General) license.

Pay Range: 

$40.62-$59.85
