SAH Paramedic

SUMMARY

Under the supervision of an RN, assists in emergent life-threatening intervention, patient examination, and treatment in the emergency department. Administers EKGs and assists with procedures. In addition, assists with the preparation and maintenance of the working environment. Initiates IV placement and cardiac monitoring for transport. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Three years of field related work as an EMT-P/EMT-1

EDUCATION

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Successful completion of a Paramedic program
  • Current EMT-1 or EMT-P registration in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
  • Current BLS and ACLS certification

$20.67-$30.19
