Sr Advisor for Advanced Payment Programs

Summary:

Reporting to VP of Finance works collaboratively with System Contracting Department on advanced payment program initiatives and other continuous quality improvement initiatives within BHMG.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate requirements for Advanced Payment Programs with the System contracting team and BHMG Operations
  • Responsible for communicating quality measure program requirements as they relate to BHMG and responding to requests from leadership care providers payers and program stakeholders
  • Provide subject matter expertise and act as a resource for individuals or entities to ask questions and seek guidance on established quality measures as defined for BHMG
  • Responsible for the review of all payer contracts for compliance with quality components and policy
  • Contribute to and support a culture of collaboration and integration that enhances the provision of excellent patient care and improved patient satisfaction
  • Project manage strategic clinical and operational initiatives set forth by medical group leaders
  • Engage with key stakeholders including senior leadership to ensure alignment on strategic goals and objectives related to advanced payment programs
  • Develop and deliver training programs to educate staff on advanced payment program requirements and quality measures

Other information:

Education and Experience

Bachelors in a healthcare related field. Clinical background and experience preferred.

Three or more years� experience in the implementation of Clinical Quality Improvement initiatives preferred

Knowledge Skills and Ability

Knowledge of NCQA Meaningful Use MACRA GPRO Pay for Performance programs and other continuous quality improvement initiatives

Knowledge of quality improvement processes models and tools

Proficiency with electronic health record various software programs and demonstrated ability to design workflows for successful use of the application in clinical practice

Experience project management and implementing quality initiatives in a clinical setting

Excellent time management and organizational skills as well as rigorous attention to detail

Excellent communication skills both verbal and written

Excellent facilitation and collaboration skills

    • Comprehensive knowledge of medical administrative ethical and legal requirements and standards related to healthcare delivery

    Physical Effort and Dexterity

    Sit and stand for prolonged periods of time

    Work and move among all departments and practice locations. Possess a valid driver�s license

    & own transportation.

    Excellent hand/eye coordination

    Lift up to 15 pounds

    Manual dexterity to operate personal computers and standard office machines and equipment as it pertains to one�s position

    Visual Acuity Hearing and Speaking

    To transfer information from paper to computer from computer to computer and to communicate in person and on the telephone
