ERP Communications and Training Lead

SUMMARY:


As supervised by the Director of ERP Operations, provides professional-level training and communication to users of the Workday ERP system across HCM, Payroll, Finance and Supply Chain. This role ensures that all employees have the knowledge, tools, and support needed to effectively use Workday in daily operations.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


Develop and maintain a comprehensive Workday training strategy and annual training calendar.


Design, deliver, and manage ongoing end-user and manager training programs across all modules.

Manage communication plans for Workday updates, new features, and system enhancements.

In response to changes in policies, technologies and special needs as determined by project leadership, collaborates in assessing training needs to ensure planned training programs address identified needs of individuals and workgroups as well as organizational priorities and managerial performance requirements.


Consults with managers and supervisors to diagnose and address system-related challenges and to plan and implement appropriate problem-solving interventions. 


Manages all administrative aspects of assigned educational programs directly or through administrative support personnel to include scheduling training locations; producing program announcements, handouts, follow-up communications and related collaterals; arranging for provision of audiovisual hardware and software; overseeing registration of participants; and preparing or overseeing preparation of all  program documentation as needed.


Support maintenance, upgrades, and updates for Workday user knowledge portal and intranet site.


Maintain and update the Workday user knowledge portal or intranet site.


Coordinate new-hire onboarding and refresher training for Workday users.


Ensure consistent tone, clarity, and branding across all Workday-related communications.

Support change management and stakeholder engagement efforts to drive successful adoption of system changes.

Performs other duties as assigned.


BASIC KNOWLEDGE:


Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field.


EXPERIENCE:


At least 3 years of current, relevant experience in training, communications, or change management within an ERP or enterprise systems environment (Workday experience preferred).


Experience in higher education, healthcare, or large complex organizations strongly preferred.


Strong presentation, instructional design, and facilitation skills.

Excellent writing and visual communication abilities.


Proficiency with e-learning and content authoring tools (e.g., Articulate, Captivate, Workday Learning, LMS platforms).


Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively across functional teams.


Technical knowledge and analytical ability to incorporate instructional technology effectively into educational programming, including self-instructional and computer-based training programs.


The professional level of knowledge of the development, design requirements, administration, implementation and evaluation of adult educational programming related to technology implementation.


Strategic thinking to influence the planning and forecasting of the organization’s technology training needs.


Demonstrated ability to design and effectively write documentation for technologically based and other workshop training experiences.

Pay Range:

$84,701.34-$139,761.44
