Workday Tenant Administrator

About the Role

This role ensures secure, compliant, and consistent system behavior across environments by overseeing authentication policies, password rules, feature op-ins and other global configuration controls. The administrator partners with functional leads to support two yearly Workday releases, regression testing and minor system enhancements.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Workday and Customer Central accounts, authentication policies, and password rules.

• Manage feature opt-ins, security configuration packages, and migration permissions. • Administer Workday Customer Central

• Serve as a Named Support Contact (NSC) to engage Workday Support for defects, tenant management, and enhancement requests.

• Review and apply Workday release updates; lead regression testing, communication, and cutover activities.

• Maintain system wide tenant setup • Coordinate with functional leads on release governance and discretionary enhancements.

• Manage the ticketing tool and workflows for issue tracking and change requests.

• Execute configuration migrations using Object Transporter (OX).

• Deliver minor enhancements (<40 hours) aligned with business priorities. Qualifications

• 3+ years of Workday administration experience (security, tenant management, or configuration).

• Strong understanding of authentication policies, NSC management, and feature opt-ins.

• Experience managing Workday releases, regression testing, and migrations.

• Excellent coordination and communication skills across technical and functional teams. Preferred Skills

• Experience in Customer Central administration.

• Familiarity with Object Transporter (OX) and ticketing workflow tools.

• Background supporting HR, Finance, or Supply Chain functions in Workday.



BASIC KNOWLEDGE: Equivalent to a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration or a related field required. A combination of computer-related technical training and successively increasing information systems management responsibility may substitute for a degree.

EXPERIENCE: One year of work experience in programming or related technical work.

WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Work is performed in a typical office setting.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY: None.

Pay Range:

$66,397.24-$109,529.06
